We make narrative and documentary films—and sometimes other things too. If you're interested in working with us on a current or future project, please contact Colin Bishopp at the email address below.
Colin Bishopp is a writer, filmmaker and advocate for expanded access to clean energy. His creative projects include the satirical website Poolitzer.org and the award-winning short film Snaggletooth. His first feature film is in development.
Colin spent much of his career working in politics and government, first for members of Congress and most recently as a Presidential appointee in the Obama Administration. In 2016, Colin received a Fulbright to lead a seminar on community organizing and clean energy finance at the University of Cape Town. Colin previously taught courses in philosophy and American culture at Wilbur Wright College and Benedictine University.
In addition to his creative pursuits, Colin serves as the Executive Director of PACENation, the non-profit advocacy organization that works to expand the availability of PACE financing. PACE is an innovative, voluntary way for property owners to fund energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, and building resiliency upgrades.
Colin also serves as Board Chair of the National Energy and Water Trust, a non-profit organization he co-founded to help state and local governments expand access to clean energy and clean drinking water, especially in low-income communities. Colin earned his master's degree at the University of Chicago and his bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
